¿Qué materiales utilizas para crear tus piezas?
The materials I use are leather, hide, knife, glue, hammer, rubber,
a punch, a utility knife, and shoe lasts.
¿Cómo es el proceso de elaboración de una pieza?
The process involves marking the leather with the mold and making templates, cutting straps from the leather, placing the last on the template, and then assembling according to the model.
¿Cuánto tiempo tarda en hacerse una pieza?
The preparation time is approximately 3 hours to make a pair of huaraches.
¿Qué es lo más difícil o especial de tu trabajo?
Essentially, the most difficult part is when they request a new model and I have to draw the patterns to be able to assemble them, and what's special is that I then add my own touch to that new model, which is what makes it look the same but at the same time different…
