HOUSE SIX MONKEY

Casa Seis Mono specializes in the design and creation of handcrafted lamps and lighting, with the support of a network of artisans from the state of Oaxaca, honoring and valuing their talent, techniques and processes, using biodegradable materials and processes.

The Mixteca region was the birthplace of one of the most important women of its civilization. SIX MONKEY – “War Quexquemetl”, Queen, Ruler and Warrior of Añute “sand hill”, a Mixtec town that today is Jaltepec, located in the state of Oaxaca.

Environmental commitment.

Our environmental commitment in creating our light fixtures is to reduce the use of synthetic materials by employing natural and biodegradable fibers, and we use clays to create the terracotta. We take care of our processes to ensure they are of a sustainable origin.
